ATTITUDE

I learned the following trick in class from a guest presenter, and I think it has a lot to do with life, not just education.

Step 1. Take the word ATTITUDE and write it out on a piece of paper
Step 2. Under each letter, write down the number that it correlates with in terms of the alphabet (ie. A = 1, B = 2, etc.)
Step 3. Add up the numbers

1     20   20    9    20    21    4      5 = 100%

Your attitude affects everything in your life.

"Any job can be boring, if you make it boring." This is a quote from a movie we watched during this presentation. I think this can be true for different aspects of your life. If you want to be negative about something, then it's going to be a negative experience. If you decide to be positive about something, then the outcome will be positive. It's all in your mind and what you put into it.

"If you love your job, it shows. If it shows, then it's obviously going to affect somebody." Again, I think this quote can also work for life in general.

What an inspirational movie - I am really glad that I heard it, as not even an hour prior, I was in a negative mood and not looking so positive upon the future. I know God has a plan for my life, and I am committed to keeping a positive attitude no matter what the situation knowing that He has control over what is to come and that He has the best intentions for my life!
