He IS in control!

Well, the last few weeks have been absolutely insane! I've been meaning to post but my time online has been short and sweet, and never long enough to ponder my thoughts and write them down. Even right now is short - but I thought I would let you all in on how God is totally proving himself to me right now, and it's just absolutely amazing and I feel so blessed with my life at the moment.

So, coming back into September from camp I had a lot of disappointments, mostly pertaining to school and my financial situation. Barely a week after arriving at home and searching for a job (as I figured out I needed one desperately) I landed a part-time job at a day-care center. It was going fine, but not providing enough hours for the pay I was getting and the amount of money I needed - so I started looking elsewhere - UNTIL I got offered a full-time position at the day-care center in the JK/SK room (right up my alley!). A week into my position (that being last Thursday) I wasn't quite enjoying myself. The early mornings, the traveling to and from work, having school in the evening, etc. was just getting to be too much for me - considering the salary (or lack of salary -- as with 40 hrs of work I would barely be able to pay my bills) just wasn't cutting it. On Monday, I got my first pay check and found out that I'm making a good chunk of change (more than I was originally told) and that will be more than sufficient to pay my bills and plus some. Praise God!

So, needless to say, God is totally providing in that area of my life. Not to mention other areas of my life as well. School is going fine, I'm enjoying it but it will be hard with the full time job to pull it off, but I know I will. God is just so good - I feel so blessed with where things are, I am on a track that is challenging in its own ways, but God is proving to me that He is RIGHT beside me and in total control, and that is just so cool!
